Microsoft is coming to New Orleans!  That is pretty cool that they are coming to our fine town for their conference this year.  ChannelWeb announced the conference that is coming next week with a nice slideshow that is a quick guide to the highlights of New Orleans including beignets, Bourbon Street, the food, the coffee, the music and of course, the beads.  Microsoft is using a number of online sources to promote the event and to share information among partners.  As well as the event website, it has a regularly-updated Twitter page and a presence on business networking site LinkedIn.  This will be one of the biggest launch waves in the history of Microsoft, starting with the launch of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 in October. In addition to the development of Windows 7, Microsoft will announce the release of Office 2010 and Windows Mobile 6.5.
